The process in carving marble is traditional in many ways. I begin with diamond cutters, move to air power and always finish with hand tools. My painting medium is primarily oil stick and oil pastel over a mixed media surface. As a sculptor I try to create depth, form and texture on the two dimensional plane forced upon the painter.
